Mitchel Dumlao is a Development Executive and Literary Manager at Chatrone. Mitchel graduated from University of California Santa Barbara in 2005 with a BA in Film Studies. In 2004, Mitchel also studied abroad in Adelaide, Australia at Flinders University under their Screen Studies department. During his time there, he directed a short documentary called THE ART IGNORED, which was nominated for various awards at a few film festivals around the country.

Mitchel began his professional career at Miramax in the fall of 2005, where he worked under the desks of Michael Zoumas and Richard Saperstein. In 2006, Mitchel worked as an assistant to development executive for Michael Zoumas at Zoom Entertainment, who had a first look deal at Rogue Pictures. There, he received an associate producer credit on the horror/mockumentary film THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES directed by the Dowdle Brothers (QUARANTINED, DEVIL), which was sold to MGM. In 2006, Mitchel also assisted John Frank Rosenblum and Cindi Rice for Epic Level Entertainment as a production coordinator on various projects, such as XOMBIE and DORKNESS RISING.

In 2008, Mitchel took part in the Power of Diversity Producing Workshop for the Producers Guild of America (PGA), developing a 1 hour TV drama with the help of industry elite and guild members. In 2007, Mitchel produced an award winning experimental short film, DJ:LA, with director Jerry Chan, which was sold to Canal+ and Ouat Media for worldwide distribution. Mitchel also produced a short film omnibus called EAT in 2008, as well as a short action film called FALL NORTH in 2009. Currently, Mitchel is producing the popular breakdancing blog he co-created called Strife TV.
